Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

First, we suggest that you patiently assure yourself that this is true. Be sure to distinguish "can't" from "can't without a lot of effort or help"! That said, you may consider removing the base from your tree to fit it through a tight space. Keep in mind, however, that the base is not intended to be removed and you do so at your own risk. No Giant Leap For Cats tree can be returned once any of its parts has been removed or adjusted. We recommend that if you must remove a base that you contact us to walk you through removal. The key to base removal is identifying exactly where each bolt, nut and washer goes, and the exact position of the tree relative to the base before removing anything. Becuase reassembling the base is difficult, we do not recommend buying a tree for a space that requires removal of the base

Giant Leap For Cats does offer returns of trees only if no part of the tree has been removed, adjusted, damanged, or soiled in anyway. Basically, if you get it back to us as we sold it to you, we'll take it. However, any costs for having received the tree and/or costs of getting it back to Giant Leap For Cats in Etna (or to the reseller location where you bought it) are the responsibility of the buyer. Giant Leap will not cover these costs up front nor reimburse them after the fact.
