Giant Leap For CatsTree Salvaging |

The first tree was designed for our own cat, Max. A grand 8 foot, 5 perch model made from a downed tree off of a construction site. Max's enthusiasm for his tree and the positive reaction of visitors to our home inspired Giant Leap for Cats.
The winter of 2003 turned out to be an ideal time to start a business utilizing salvaged trees. When this particularly long and harsh winter was over, we and our neighbors picked up the fallen limbs and branches for weeks. Many majestic, old trees, having seen 50 winters, did not outlive this one.

Not all of our trees are fallen. When a local museum tore down a 59 year old Willow to make room for a new parking lot to suit its expansion, we were there to salvage many beautiful limbs and give the Willow a chance to continue to proudly show its beauty.
